Winner: Automotive Partner to Sir Paul McCartney’s Visit to Ukraine
2008-06-11On Saturday, June 14, 2008, on invitation of the Viktor Pinchuk Foundation, Paul McCartney will give a concert to thousands of fans in Independence Square in Kyiv.
The event that was named Independence Concert is initiated by the Viktor Pinchuk Foundation. This special performance by Paul McCartney will be free for public and will be broadcasted live on Novy Kanal.
It is a great honour for Winner to be automotive partner to such a top-level event. Apart from Daimler for Sir Paul, the company will provide cars for the singer’s team and technical assistance personnel. It will use cars of three brands out of the five brands represented by Winner in Ukraine: Ford, Volvo and Jaguar.
The company considers it logical that Paul McCartney will be driving a Jaguar during his stay in Ukraine, as Jaguar are world-famous British cars that are normally associated with luxury and exclusiveness. Moreover, many celebrities in the world give preference to these cars. The choice of model is also quite reasoned. Sharing some features with the Jaguar’s flagship, Daimler differs from
Jaguar XJ with a range of exclusive features and virtually unlimited option choice. It is the most luxurious car in the ‘British cats’ portfolio.
